627 The Jewish tribe of Qurayza raided by Muhammad; some 800 men beheaded (only one Jew abjuring his religion to save his life) and all the women and children sold as slaves.
628 The Treaty of Hudaybiyya: truce with the Quraysh, who recognise Muhammad's right to proselytise without hindrance.
629 The Jews of Khaybar put to the sword.
630 Truce broken by the Quraysh. Mecca taken by Muhammad–the entire population converted, and the Ka'ba established as the religious centre of Islam.
631 ‘The Year of Embassies’ – Islam accepted by Arabian tribes.
632 Muhammad's Farewell Pilgrimage to Mecca.
