Summary

The epilogue rehearses the trends in the Byzantine hagiography of Cyprus as it developed from the fourth to the thirteenth century. It notes shifts in narrative style, ways of representing the island as a landscape and physical environment, and use as documents meant to shore up the Orthodox identity of the island.
