In the text of the article Reference Ilges, Kosaski and Seville1 , “the average time to first PCT was 1.6 days” should read “the average day of first PCT result was 1.6 (median = 1, interquartile range [IQR] = 1).”

In Table 1 of the article, “Mean time to First Procalcitonin, days” should read “Median day of first procalcitonin [Q1, Q3]” and the results should be changed from “1.6 (1.0)” to “1 [1, 2]” for both columns.
