The goals of this volume are: (a) to demonstrate that young children are sensitive toproperties of language structure (such as word order), (b) to detail a new method for studyingearly language comprehension, (c) to provide a novel theoretical framework for understandingearly syntactic development, and (d) to provide a clear and accessible account of languageacquisition.
