Abstract

Grauberg has undertaken the ambitious task of presenting in a relatively short book thelinguistic and pedagogical aspects of teaching French and German as foreign languages. Despitemany serious omissions, including a framework for discussing language proficiency, hisclassroom observations may prove useful for future French and German teachers.
