Fullerenes Entrapped in Porous Glass

Abstract

Fullerenes have been impregnated in porous glass with little interaction with the glass noted. Concentrations as high as 3mg/ml of C60 or C70 were obtained. It was shown that the fullerenes can enhance the photo-induced charge transfer reaction of DEA with the porous glass.
