Abstract

Some aspects of the thermodynamic and transport - related properties of binary solid electrolyte phases are discussed in terms of the associated defect behaviour. In particular, the close relationship between results obtained from an asymmetric polarization experiment and the relevant defect equilibrium diagram for the phase under study, is emphasized.
