Anomalous Diffusion in Radwaste Glasses

Abstract

Fractal structure domains for inhomogeneities in radwaste glasses were determined. SEM and TEM photos were analyzed for this aim as well as the Cs-137 leaching process for glass specimens. Unusual character of leaching was observed provided by anomalous diffusion of radionuclides through fractal cluster made of inhomogeneous particles.
