High Power Laser Science and Engineering (HPL) is now recruiting early career editorial board members.
High Power Laser Science and Engineering (HPL) focuses on the fields of high power lasers, high energy density physics, laser components, advanced laser technology and applications. Its latest JCR impact factor is 5.7 and it ranks in JCR Quartile 1.
In order to further enhance the academic quality and international influence of the journal, HPL is now recruiting early career editorial board members. If you want to grow together with our journal and achieve mutual success, we warmly welcome your application!
Recruitment Criteria
- Completed a PhD degree in a relevant field in the past 10 years
- Possess a strong research background in Laser Physics, Plasma Physics, Optical Engineering and related fields, with a proven record of publications in high-level academic journals
- Be enthusiastic about supporting journal development, and willing to contribute time and effort to building high-level international academic journal
Responsibilities of Early Career Editorial Board Members
- Serve as a Topic Editor (TE) to manage the peer-review process for assigned manuscripts
- Solicit high-quality submissions for the journal. Early career editorial board members are expected to invite significant research achievements in the field of high-power laser science and engineering, either as individual articles or by organizing special issues
- Promote outstanding articles published in HPL. This includes recommending excellent papers to relevant experts in the field, such as by directly sharing articles with potential readers or promoting them during conference presentations
- Assist in organizing relevant conferences, forums, and other academic events, either online or on-site
Benefits of Early Career Editorial Board Members
- A certificate of appointment as an Early Career Editor will be provided
- Promotion of scientific achievements of early career editorial board members and their research teams on Linkedin, X, Facebook and other media platforms, both domestically and internationally, to improve their academic influence
- Priority publication of articles submitted or recommended as first or corresponding authors after passing rigorous peer review
- Outstanding contributors have the opportunity to be promoted to editorial board members during changes
