Global ecological catastrophe is pushingthe world toward ecological integration, aswell as toward closer partnerships andmore cooperation in this field. Globalizationleads to the development and improvementof new methods of internationalecological security and safety. In thispaper, I investigate the problems and perspectivesof Ukraine's participation in internationaland regional ecological cooperation.Not only are these issues importantto Ukraine, but they have significance forother countries, since Ukraine is representativeof countries in transition--the socalledcountries of the "second world,"which have emerged as a result of social andpolitical transformations at the end ofthe 20th century.
