A NEW GENUS, NEOTHELAXES, AND TWO NEW SPECIES OF THELAXINAE FROM INDIA (HOMOPTERA: APHIDIDAE)

Abstract

Neothelaxes gen.nov., type-species N. viticola sp.nov., as well as N. parthenocissi sp.nov., are described. The host-plant of the two species is Parthenocissus semicordata. The taxonomic position of the aphids is discussed.

Résumé

Neothelaxes gen.nov., espèce type N. viticola sp.nov., ainsi que N. parthenocissi sp.nov., sont décrits. La plante hôte pour les deux espèces est Parthenocissus semicordata. La position taxonomique de ces pucerons est discutée.
